Why not 100%?
The 20% cut is taken from the higher price, so it removes more than the 20% increase added.

Yes. In the standard full-length tests, Module 2 of each section is the harder version if you get 60% or more of Module 1 right, and the easier version if you don’t. Challenge tests use the hardest material throughout.
Official timing, extended 1.5× time, or untimed, on every test, including the free ones. Extended time allows 48 minutes for each Reading & Writing module and about 52 for each Math module. Untimed removes the clock so you can focus on accuracy.

Pacing and review · Lesson 1
Mark for Review and the question navigator
Every question has a Mark for Review flag. The question navigator shows every question in the module and whether it is answered, unanswered or marked, and it lets you jump straight to any of them.
Answer first, then mark. Before you move past a hard question, select your best answer so far and flag it. If time runs out before you return, your answer still counts.
Use the answer eliminator to cross out choices you have ruled out. When you come back, you won't have to redo that work.
At the end of the module, open the navigator. Make sure no question is unanswered, then go back to the marked ones.

Before marking a hard question for review and moving on, what should you do first?
- Leave it blank so it's easy to spot later.
- Select your best answer so far.Answer
- Clear any choices you crossed out so you can start fresh later.
- Move on to the next module.
How to solve it
- A marked question with an answer still has a chance at the point if you never get back to it.
- A blank question has no chance.
Why each choice is right or wrong
- A. Incorrect. A blank earns nothing if time runs out. The navigator already shows which questions are marked.
- B. Correct. Your best guess counts even if you never return, and the flag lets you find it again.
- C. Incorrect. Crossed-out choices save you time when you return. Keep them.
- D. Incorrect. Moving to the next module locks this one, so you could never come back to the question.
Worked example Medium
With 4 minutes left in a module, Ana has 3 marked questions she has answered and 1 question she hasn't answered at all. What should she do first?
- Answer the unanswered question, then revisit the marked ones.Answer
- Revisit the marked questions first, since they are harder.
- Recheck every question from the beginning.
- Stop working, since marked questions are scored as wrong.
How to solve it
- An unanswered question is a sure zero. The marked questions already have answers that might be right.
- Filling the blank first guarantees a chance at every point, and then she can use the rest of the time on the marked questions.
Why each choice is right or wrong
- A. Correct. A blank can't earn a point, so giving it an answer first is the best use of the first seconds.
- B. Incorrect. The marked questions already have answers. The blank one is worth nothing until it is answered.
- C. Incorrect. Rechecking everything wastes the time she needs for the blank and marked questions.
- D. Incorrect. A mark is only a reminder. Marked questions are scored on the answer selected.
