Practice Test 1 is a full-length ACT practice test you can take free on Peakscor: English, Math and Reading, plus optional Science, in official order and on test timing, with estimated section scores and a Composite at the end.
Exactly what is free
- Practice Test 1: a full-length practice test in the enhanced ACT format, marked free.

- The 20-question ACT diagnostic: a level for each section and reporting category, and where to start.
- Daily ACT practice: ACT practice uses Peakscor’s free daily questions, the same allowance for every test you practice. ACT questions come in three levels, so ACT practice can use up to 9 easy, 9 medium and 9 hard a day, each with an explanation for every choice. They reset at midnight Central Time.

How to take it
- Make a free account with your email address.
- Open ACT full-length tests and choose Practice Test 1.
- Pick your timing and whether to include Science.
- Afterwards, go through the explanations for the questions you missed, then practice those skills.

Is the free ACT practice test really free?
Yes. Practice Test 1 is marked free: take it with a free Peakscor account, made with an email address. No card is needed. The other ACT practice tests come with Pro.
Is this an official ACT?
No. Every question is original Peakscor practice in the enhanced ACT format, written and checked by us. Peakscor is not affiliated with ACT, and the scores it shows are estimates.
Do I have to take Science?
No. Science is optional on the enhanced ACT and on this practice test. Without it the test is 131 questions in 2 hours 5 minutes; Science adds 40 questions in 40 minutes and a STEM score.
